Does Flibop need internet?
No. Flibop works completely offline, including airplane mode. The map, facts, quizzes and pictures are all inside the app.
How does the app know where the plane is?
Flibop calculates the position from the departure time, flight duration and route. If you like, you can switch on GPS during the flight for a more precise position. The location stays on the device.
What age is Flibop for?
For children aged 3 to 12. You choose the age band when you create the profile; content, pictures and texts adapt to it.
What is the parental gate?
A small maths task in front of everything grown-ups should decide: the parents area, sharing, deleting and the calendar import. In the parents area you can choose for some tasks whether the gate is shown.
Where are our photos and entries stored?
Only on your device. We receive no data. When you set up a new iPhone or iPad, the data moves along with the iCloud backup or device transfer.
How do I delete entries?
Delete photos, drawings and diary pages in the album (behind the parental gate). Deleting the app deletes all data.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or iPadOS 18 and later.
