The Flibop app

In short

Flibop collects no data. There is no account, no advertising, no tracking and no analytics, and the app does not connect to the internet. Everything you enter stays on this device.

What stays on this device

Trips and flights, the child's first name (optional), the age band, photos, drawings, diary entries, stamps and stickers. You can delete entries in the app; deleting the app removes everything. iCloud backups of the device may contain this data, as with any app.

Permissions

Camera: only for photos you take for the album. Add to Photos: only when a grown-up saves a picture. Calendar: only when a grown-up takes flights from the calendar; it is read on the device. Location: only during a flight with GPS switched on, to place the plane on the map. You can change every permission in the iOS Settings.

Sharing

The app sends nothing by itself. Behind the parental gate, a grown-up can share a picture through the iOS share sheet; what happens then is decided by the app or person you choose.

Children

Flibop is made for children and follows the rules of the Kids category in the App Store: no links out of the app, no purchases and no settings for grown-ups without the parental gate.

Questions and your rights

Because we receive no data, there is nothing we could disclose or delete. For questions about privacy write to the e-mail address in the imprint.

This website

In short

This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking or analytics and loads no content from other providers, not even fonts.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When a page is requested, the server stores technically necessary details in log files: IP address, date and time, requested page, amount of data transferred, and browser and operating system. This serves the secure operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The host deletes or anonymises the logs after a short time. A data processing agreement with IONOS is in place.

Contact by e-mail

If you write to us, we use your message and e-mail address only to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We delete the message once it is dealt with and no retention duty applies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Write to the address in the imprint.
